Weezer (also known as The Blue Album) is the debut studio album by the American rock band Weezer, released on May 10, 1994. Weezer touches upon various life experiences of Cuomo, including subjects such as his brother's car accident, heartbreak, jealousy, alcohol, and former girlfriends. Weezer incorporated the genres of alternative rock and power pop to achive their success and in doing so created one of the most influencial records of the decade.
