Flaming Lips, The - Imagen Peise: Atlas Eets Christmas [LP]

Released in 2007, At Last Eets Christmas by The Flaming Lips was previously released in a very limited physical quantity on CD only under the pseudonym Imagene Peise (with a sticker that read "Love Is The Answer - Merry Christmas From The Flaming Lips 2007"). The pseudonym Imagene Peise is a John Lennon-esque spelling of "Imagine Peace" and likewise the album title sounds-out "At it's Christmas" - both phrases can be heard in the only lyrics on this otherwise instrumental album. The best way that I can describe this album is Santa tripping on acid. The psychedelic/jazz concept album of christmas songs is a must have if you dislike "normal"christmas carols and want to get in the spirit the Flaming Lips abnormal way.
