Milky Chance is a German folk duo with reggae and electronica music influences made up of Clemens Rehbein (vocals and instruments) and Philipp Dausch (production and DJing). Sadnecessary is the debut studio album by the duo, it was released in Germany on 1 October 2013. Sadnecessary strikes a pleasing balance between lo-fi introspection, arty experimentation, and melodic lyricism, displayed in such songs as "Stolen Dance," "Down by the River," and "Flashed Junk Mind."
