Consolers of the Lonely is the second album by American rock band The Raconteurs. It was released on March 25, 2008. The tracks on the record are centered on chaotic sounds and the diverse nature of the songs sets this album apart from their previous release "Broken Boy Soldiers." The tracks on the album have a resemblance to albums released by Led Zeppelin and The Who, these songs illustrate all the ways that Jack White's stubborn stylization pays off, they're quite deliberate in their fusion of the traditional and modern rock, yet they never sound over-thought, they kick and crackle as pure kinetic music. This record is definitely better that their debut.
